The f/stop Festival for Photography will run from 31 May to 16 June 2024 and, true to its title ‘Escape into the Public Sphere’, will expand into public spaces. We are delighted that Frieder's ongoing project ‘Komplex : Heimat’ will be part of the festival programme! The work is expected to be on display in the historic waiting room at the main railway station as part of a group exhibition. The confirmation is still very fresh – so we are still a little excited and very curious. Come along in large numbers!

We are also leading a poster workshop as part of the festival. In light of the obviously misanthropic and fascist ideas of the Potsdam Meeting and the massive reactions on the streets, we ask ourselves: what now?
We want to meet with you over two weekends and think about it together, exchange ideas, and then take action together. Using found and our own photographs, collages, and texts, we want to design a joint poster, which will be shown in a public square in the city center as part of this year's f/stop festival.
1st block: April 26th, 6-8 p.m., April 27th & 28th, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
2nd block: May 10th 6-8 p.m., May 11 & 12, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Opening / Presentation: on one day during this year's festival (May 31-June 16)
We meet at Kunstraum D21 Leipzig. Participation is free for you! However, we expect you to participate in all workshop phases. Registration (with a brief description of your connection to the topic) by April 14, 2024, to office@unofficial.pictures

The f/stop team is also happy to receive helping hands and donations. You can find all the information about the festival here.
