Build your own game together!

Do you want to combine gaming and theatre, fictional stories and real places?

Together with „machina eX“ aus Berlin entwickeln wir in Suhl von März bis Juli ein interaktives Theater-Spiel, das wie ein begehbares Computerspiel funktioniert. Mit echten Orten und im Smartphone, mit echten und gespielten Menschen – und mit deinen Ideen. 

Zum nächsten Workshop vom 15.-17. Mai  kannst du noch einsteigen, das sogenannte Game Theatre kennenlernen und selbst in der Gruppe ein erstes Spiel entwickeln. Wir treffen uns im Community Art Center (Steinweg 28 in Suhl, Eingang rechts neben Müller) jeweils von 10 bis 16 Uhr, Mittagsessen inklusive!
 
Mitmachen können alle von 12 bis 35 Jahren, die sich mit Suhl verbunden fühlen – ob hier geboren, hergezogen oder nur auf Zeit in der Stadt. There is noprior knowledge necessary. For you participation is free of charge, travelling expenses can be reimbursed.

Who leads the workshop?
The collective machina eX from Berlin has been developing similar games since 2010 and is happy to pass on their knowledge to young people.


Who is organising the project?

The non-profit organisation unofficial.pictures e.V. has been bringing people together through art in Suhl since 2022. For example, the project „Suhl-Nord - Back in dialogue“ allowed participants in two workshops to produce a neighbourhood newspaper, which we distributed free of charge. In December 2024, we opened the „Community Art Centre“ in Steinweg.


When and where does it start?
Von Freitag den 15. Mai bis Sonntag den 17. Mai, jeweils von 10–16 Uhr, treffen wir uns im Community Art Center im Steinweg 28 in Suhl (rechts der Müller-Drogerie geht es eine Treppe hoch. Wenn du Am Burghof 8 klingelst, kannst du den Fahrstuhl nehmen)


Was ist insgesamt der Plan?

  • 15.–17. Mai: nächster Workshop zum Neu-Einsteigen
  • 5.–7. Juni: Letzter Workshop zum Zusammenfügen der Teile
  • 8/9 July: Rehearsals
  • 10 July: Dress rehearsal
  • 11/12 July: Performances in the city of Suhl followed by a meal at the Community Art Centre


What if I don't have time on all the dates?

Please let us know in the registration form and we will try to find a solution.


Who is it for?
Alle Jugendlichen & junge Erwachsene von 12–35 Jahre – egal ob hier geboren, hergezogen oder nur vorübergehend in Suhl.


Do I need to be a pro with theatre / computer games?

No special prior knowledge is required, the main thing is that you are keen to develop something together with others.


What does it cost?
Participation is completely free of charge for you! Travel costs from the surrounding area will be reimbursed (please specify when registering). The project is made possible by funding from Fonds Soziokultur, Heidehof Stiftung and Freudenberg Stiftung as well as donations.
